/// New Zealand Paramotor Tour 2026: South Island

3–12 April 2026 • 10 days of pure paramotoring adventure

Join us on our next flying adventure…….

Discover New Zealand’s South Island from the sky. This 10-day paramotoring tour takes you across coastlines, mountains, lakes, glaciers, and golden beaches. We keep things flexible so we can fly as much as possible — you focus on the flying, we handle the rest.

Parapro has been organising paramotor tours for 15 years. This included attempting to fly the length of NZ with a group of overseas pilots as well organizing a flying tour in the South Island for 37 international motor pilots – basically a flying circus.

The tour will target the following areas: Tekapo, Wanaka, Southern West Coast, Frans, Greymouth, Punakaiki, Westport, Golden Bay, Able Tasman area and Kaikoura.

Who This Tour Is For

This trip is for pilots who want big scenery, great flying, and zero hassle. Expect a mix of coastal cruising, mountain missions, and calm morning smooth air. When the forecast changes, we move with it. The aim is simple: maximize flyable hours.

This tour is for licensed foot-launch paramotor pilots with:

  • 50+ hours
  • Strong forward and reverse launch skills
  • Your own motor and wing
  • NZHGPA visiting membership
