- You’ll develop the skills, knowledge and confidence to become a safe, independent pilot who can make good decisions for yourself.
Learn from an experienced, active pilot
- You’ll learn with Ondra, an NZHGPA-rated instructor and tandem pilot.
- You’ll benefit from real-world experience gained through years of flying, teaching and progressing in the sport. Bringing home the best and the newest teaching techniques from annual trip to Europe.
Build real flying skills
You’ll learn to:
- Understand weather, wind and terrain
- Control your wing confidently
- Launch and land safely
- Make good decisions before and during a flight
- Recognise your limits and manage risk
- Progress towards thermalling and cross-country flying
Train in Christchurch
- You’ll experience a variety of flying environments, from coastal and ridge flying to thermic and mountain sites.
- This gives you the opportunity to build experience in different conditions and develop into a more adaptable pilot
Progress at your pace
- Your training will be adapted to your experience, ability and the conditions on the day.
- You’ll get the time and attention needed to build your skills properly, rather than simply being pushed through a fixed programme.
Keep progressing after your licence
- Getting your PG2 is just the beginning.
- You’ll have opportunities to continue developing your flying through progression coaching, thermalling, cross-country flying and advanced skills and paramotoring.
- And when you have questions or need advice, ParaPro is there to support you as you continue flying.
